The Women in Business General Members are immensely excited to present the 3rd annual Member Initiative!

The Member Initiative is a project led by our dedicated members, providing them with a platform to apply the valuable skills they have acquired through Women In Business workshops. In planning and developing our initiative this year, our members have the opportunity to strengthen and expand WIB’s impact within the community.

Led by Vanessa, Daria, and Vera, this year's initiative focused on partnering with The Mustard Seed, a charitable organization. Together, they embarked on a mission to collect donations and create 45 care packages, along with gathering other much-needed winter donations.

Through their efforts, they demonstrated exceptional dedication and compassion, ensuring that individuals facing adversity receive essential items and support during the challenging winter season. This initiative not only showcases the transformative power of our members' skills but also exemplifies WIB as a force for positive change and our core value of Community.

The Member Initiative is a member led project that provides a platform for members to utilize the skills they learn through Women in Business workshops. In planning and developing this newsletter, members have the opportunity to apply skills learned in workshops to real-life scenarios.

This year’s 2021-2022 members have chosen to celebrate and raise awareness for the Alberta Not-for-Profit sector through an informational newsletter and raffle. We hope you enjoy reading all about the incredible non-profits that coexist in our community and feel inspired to seek volunteer opportunities with them too!
